33 hours on very little airplane sleep (Poland)

Needless to say, we are all really tired, but spirits are good.  It’s 9:00pm here and we look like zombies.  Each night I’ll try to get a few students to update the blog, but since it is so late for us, I (Brett) decided to write today’s blog.  We had a great plane on the trip from Washington DC to Munich, Germany.  Each seat had it’s own screen and you got to pick what movies you wanted to watch.  The biggest travel concern we had was the turnaround in Munich.  It was extremely smooth!  We landed in Krakow and jumped into 3 taxi vans which took us to our hostel.  After unpacking, we gathered in the common area for an orientation where James and Angela filled us in on some Polish culture.  We spent about an hour walking around the Rynek (the city square) which is right next to where we are staying.  We had our first dinner at Yummie’s (think Polish Chili’s) and then capped the night off with a brief share time.
